So for the last couple of weeks I've been getting a pain under my right ribs, but it doesn't really feel like bub pushing against it. It is more of a burning sensation but it relieves when I lay down. Sitting up is painful because of it, even if I sit with correct posture.
Has anyone else experienced this, is it just bub pushing against me? And is there anything I can do to relieve it, apart from laying down?
Hi I had the same pain when I was in the 3rd trimester, especially if I had eaten a big meal. The doc told me it was the muscle on my ribs stretching to accommodate the baby. Not sure if it is what you're experiencing but it hurt like hell! I always had to make sure I didn't over eat or I'd pay for it later, especially when sitting down. I remember once when I was about 30 weeks DH and I went for dinner and a movie after and I had to kneel on the floor for half the movie I was so uncomfortable LOL.
Yes I was getting that rather familiar pain quite often. It was under my left ribs....just in one spot! But if i stretched out, and lay down, it went away for a while. It was jsut my muscle strectching. Not getting it so much anymore, think my ribs have stretched to their limits...lol
Now the pain has moved down where my ovaries should be, it's like a constant stitch! Still on left side...sometimes it mocves to the right side, but rarely! Oh the joys and pains of creating a wonderful life!
hi, i have the pain too just in one spot on right side it hurts by end of day only started when hit 3rd trymesterso by sounds of it its my ribs streaching cant wait till it goes away
