Hello,
This is my second pregnancy and I'm now just over 35 weeks and I have a very active bub growing who moves around A LOT. This was also the case with my first, but, this time it is sooo painful. I mean to the point of waking me in the night kind of painful. Since last week, much of his movements hurt. I just don't remember it being like this with DS! His movements were lovely!
Is it normal for it to hurt like this? I feel as if my belly is going to burst open when he moves! And he still has four weeks of growing left to do!! Has anyone else had pain from baby's movements?
At times this bubs movements are a bit uncomfortable so i'm hoping in seven or eight weeks it isn't as painful as you describe. Could you give your caregivers a ring and ask them if it's normal?
im having exactly the same thing! My DD was nothing like this! This little one doesnt stop moving and every move is painful,im 38 weeks now and i think for a good while it has hurt when he moves he like jabs me and things so strange but i just feel like im going ouch ouch all the time!Mines more active at night too,if hes moving theres no way i can sleep hes so full on i definetly didnt have this with my first so am unsure either,i thought it was because i was having a boy this time!!
I thought I must have forgotten how much my other babies movement hurt but no this bub is different! His kicks and punches bring me to my knees sometimes! Last night his punching woke me up and right now it feels like go could be going a few rounds with Mike Tyson! I didn't even have this type of pain with my twins!!
I've had some painful ones that have woken me in the night where someone has rolled over or something and its just pushed my skin that little bit too far, but then I have two in there so thats not too surprising.
But every now and then someone kicks me in the ribs, or diaphragm and OMG. But its very rare.
I am starting to get that now at 32.5 weeks.
He moves all the time, most often at night & sometimes I feel like he's gonna break loose like in Alien!
He even gave my midwife a big kick in my last examination!
I feel so fortunate to have such an active bub, I don't get concerned until I haven't felt him for a few hours...
I find bub loves to kick the hell out of my hips on the insides. And it is painful, almost startling! Your bub definatly sounds like he is a little mover but is a great sign he is active. Is he on the smaller side? Sometimes that can be a factor as he still has room to really kick around
I am grateful that he's active, I know that if he wasn't moving much I'd be worrying. It's just that my first baby was active too and it never hurt like this one!
Curlygirl, apparently he's average size and I don't seem to have extra fluid.
I see my OB on Friday so I will mention it to him, although I'm sure he'll just smile and tell me it's normal
mine is VERY active too, DS was but not this much, this lil one often wakes me up and stretches out so far i have to push him back in and kicks my ribs and pelvis so hard sometimes its cracks a bit LOL
