It's a good thing LMK it means your cervix is still closed. Was there any sign if engagement, maybe that could explain the pains?

She said that she can't tell how far engaged the baby is but the head is right down there.

If it is it still long then generally it is closed, what they can look for shortening of the cervix and pockets within the cervix (looks like bubbles/airpockets) along the length of the cervix and funnelling of the cervix opening up from the inside of the uterus, I have scans done fortnightly on my checking for all of these things, to pick up any signs that it is opening, but yours sounds fabulous and it holding up nicely
