Hi Samara, i forgot to ask my midwife of course.....pregnancy brain!! I have had a couple more episodes but i just try to take it easy. My work will be decreasing from 4 1/2 days to 2 1/2 days from the middle of dec, about 2 wks time, must admit i M REALLY REALLY looking forward to it...! Hope things are going well with you, you're almost there! EXCITING!!
Thanks. You are getting pretty close also! I'd say it's just everything preparing for the real deal. I'll be going in any day now hopefully! My 'period like pains' have turned into painful braxtons!!! I'm just waiting for them to hurry up and regulate I hope all goes well with you also!
I just wanted to say that BH's can actually be quite painful. With my DS I had very painful BH that felt and acted like real contractions - even a midwife said that they felt like contractions after she laid her hand on my belly for 15 minutes and I had 3 of them at 5 minutes apart when I was 33wks pregnant with my DS - but as the others have said, always call your care provider and get it checked out.
In saying that, I've also been getting the period-like pains along with the BH's for the past 6 weeks during this pregnancy and have a suspected irritable uterus as well, so it's probably a bit different for me.
