Personal experiences wanted: stretch and sweep!

Had a stretch and sweep today, cervix is 3cm, head fully engaged and membranes bulging.
Just wondering what experiences others have had with the stretch and sweep when the cervix is ripe. I know others have had one when it's not favorable and achieved nothing so just wanted to hear from you who are similar to myself

I've had one 3 times. With my last baby i was 3cm abduction vet very ripe. Had sweep at lunchtime was un established labour by 2am. good luck hope it has worked.

I was 2cm a ripe on my due date with DD1, Ob did the S&S at lunch time and said "see you later" nope... 3 days later i went in for induction at my request.. but induction was one application of gel, no drip, 6 hrs sleep, 3hrs active labour, baby.

Had a stretch and sweep at about 2pm when I was 41+1, contractions started at about 8:30 that night and DS was born 9:30 the next morning. I was 4cm dilated, 3/5 engaged and membranes bulging also.

I had one at 39+2 with DS, 3cm bulging sac, went into labour the next morning!!

Hope the s&s has done something!!

I had one at around 42 weeks with DD. I was 1cm.
Labour started the following afternoon.

Had one at 40 weeks 1day cervix was not favourable and he said he didn't think I was going into labour any time soon. Labour started 11pm that night

Had one the day after my due date, 1cm dialated, cervix wasn't terribly favourable. I went into labour 36 hours later
