    Placenta Previa & Flying?

Hi anyone! I'm new and have found alot of helpful info from other peoples posts. I am just looking for some advice at the moment.

I am 31wks now, u/s last week showed I still have grade 3 placenta previa. I am due to move interstate from next week, and just booked a flight from adelaide to brisbane for the 01/08. After speaking to the midwife on phone yesterday though, i am freaking out a bit as while she said flying should be ok, she also said i needed to be within 30mins of a hospital at all times and should think about staying in adelaide for the birth.
I jst realised yesterday that I will need to get a letter from the doc advising that I can fly so I am hoping that it wont be a problem. I don't see the Ob for 6 days and I am just gettin worried that they may recommend not flying. Also thinking now about bleeding on the plane!
I had a workmate who had a grade 2 previa and ended up having 4 bleeds from 29wks and I have had no bleeds so I am thinking will probably be ok. Just having a little freak out i guess!

If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated. But if not, site has been so helpful anyway

No real advice but I hope you get the all clear!

I had a low lying placenta at my 20 week scan and was under strict instructions from my OB to definitely not fly before my scan at 32 weeks. I wasn't allowed to travel (by car) any further than 2 hours from the CBD either.

I got the all clear at the 32 week scan but yeah, my OB was tough
