Please help me get through the next 9 weeks.. *vent*

I have 9 weeks until my due date. Most probably 10 weeks until the birth since i have been over by 1 week twice now.. Im already sick of being pregnant. Don't get me wrong, i love growing this baby but the SPD is giving me the irrates and i can barely walk most days. Plus i can't sleep, its too uncomfortable. I have nothing to wear cause i cant justify spending money on clothes that will only get worn for 10 weeks and i dont have any winter maternity wear cause ive never been heavily pregnant in winte beforer. I'm so exhausted all the time and i just cannot keep up with the kids or the housework or anything and i just feel like a big fat hippo!!

Are you having treatment for the spd? I could barely walk at 22 weeks with dd2 I needed crutches but after seeing a physio I could manage to get around enough to look after dd1 and do some housework. It's so painfull and impossible to rest when you have children to look after. I hope the next 9 weeks go really fast for you.

Darl, I know you feel you can't justify buying winter maternity stuff, but I really think you should - it'll give you a boost to have some nice new stuff, you'll feel closer to a million bucks.

I imagine your SPD makes getting anywhere difficult, so would it be possible to have a weekly event, a 'countdown to baby' party? So maybe one week all your girlie friends come over and you just have mani/pedis, watch a chick flick and have mocktails and chocolate, and then the next week have a date with your hubby, and vice versa? Then you've got something to look forward to every week, and the time will fly!

Ah hun, I wish I was near you, and we could have a pre baby party every week

I'm sure you're not a big fat hippo
I guess I'm lucky, my SPD settled down once bub was engaged but my body is a weird and wonderful playground for the doctors, but I do know the pain you are going through. Is hubby or friends helping out with the day-to-day chores and looking after the little ones?
Where abouts in Newy are you? Would always be happy to lend a hand (although I've only got 10days til due so...)

Aww hun I feel some of your pain - I don't have SPD but I do struggle with the sleep thing, feeling like a whale thing and not keeping up with the housework thing.

Hang in there... its really only a bit over two months... if that helps?

Do you have crossroads near you? I got some great tops that look nice and fit well even though they aren't maternity ones, katies is another one to try. I gave up on kmart and target none of their stuff appeals to me either.

The closest crossroads is around 45 minutes away. I live in a small country town so can't really get to anywhere without a big drive.

Might have to resort to online however it's so expensive..
