Unhappy Please tell me I'm not alone!

Bubs has been quieter than usual over the past few days. I'm still feeling regular movement, but the movements aren't as strong as they were. Now, today I don't think I've felt anything. I've tried eating something sweet and sitting down, but no action as yet. I have a check up on Wednesday morning, but I'm finding it hard not to worry until then. Is bubs just having a quiet day?

    Hey Selina,

My little man has been really quite for about the past 3 or so days too - although he did make an appearance for about 10 mins last night.

I think it's normal he might have moved in a way that we can't feel the really strong kicks....maybe.

If your stressed maybe give the midwives a quick call??

I used to get worried if I didn't feel movement for a while. The things that I found that would get bubs going were:

icy cold drink like a slurpy then lie down for 1/2 an hour on the left side
coffee (only tried that in the last month of pregnancy)
    chocolate
partner blowing a raspberry on my tummy

If you try all of those and still get nothing perhaps it might be worth getting checked out.

Bubs decided to make an appearance in the evening, and he's been moving a bit this morning. I think he must have just been having a very quiet, sleepy day yesterday.

These little bubs make you worry, don't they.

Sterla - it's only the beginning of the worry hun *hugs* enjoy him!
But as they get to the end of their journey in your tum, the room gets a bit tight so they do slow down. But listen to your instinct, if you think you need to see a professional, do!
