    Post Totally Over It!

I am so over this pregnancy I am seriously huge to the point that when I go to the shops/park etc people stare at me which is really upsetting and makes me not want to go anywhere (not that I can go far without DH cause I am unable to drive - too big)
I was never this big with my DD or DS - the doctors have told me that there is no more room that I am full to the brim but they wont induce me which is annoying cause I cant do anything. I am so scared that I am going to have a monster sized baby and all the doctors will tell me is that the baby is going to be a healthy size - that could be anything over 5 pound cant it??
I have been told to rest but that is easier said then done when you have a 3 and 2 year old to look after as well as a house to run cant leave it for DH to do - stuff will never get done
I am hoping and that this little baby will come soon - the foot up my ribs is really annoying lately and so it the lack of sleep

sorry this is more of a vent but if anyone has any advice - it is more than welcome!

Oh sweet at 8 days over and counting I hear you. Im the same when I go out now - which I only do with DH or my mum because I am SO huge and people are rude and stare and stare and it's not the kind stare of a "oh look a pregnant lady" its OMG that lady must have QUADS in there!
All I can advise, is try some natural induction methods - there are some suggestions on the main site, but things like sex, nipple stimulation, raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, acupuncture/acupressure etc can all help. Take time out for you when you can too. I have a 16 mth old and if I need a bath we have one together and she plays and makes a mess of the bathroom while I try to relax.... at night I get DH to give me backrubs and I try to relax as much as I can...
Good luck and hang in there! Not to long to go for either of us.

    Tan,
Think I'm getting away with it for the same reason also I'm pretty tall so that's helping! Mind you people must crack up if they're watching me get out of the car...... that's another story tho! lol

Lol having the same problems. I look bigger than you do Tan and you are overdue : O and I still have 38 days to go.

I was reading about acupuncture induction and they recommend that you start this at about 36 weeks in case you need a few sessions. I'm willing to try anything at this point. Bubs is sooooo low and I can't bend over and it is getting hard to get behind the steering wheel of the pajero (a manual) and with my short legs I can't push the clutch in unless I'm closer to the pedals lol that ain't happening any time soon.

Pink Mummy when the dr's say a good size baby for me it means a BIG one lol. My smallest has been 3.58kg or 7lb 14oz and my biggest so far has been 4.4kg or 9lb 12oz. I'm so hoping this one is not that big but from the size of my belly I might be out of luck.

Labour vibes to you and Tan and hope you go soon.

    Pink mummy,

i have my wonderful 1q0 week old here i my arms baby 4 for me and hubbie. I Do understand that rib pain i had it most of the tail end of pregnancy i couldnt even eat it was so bad it went straight threw me in the front and out the back. Every pregnancy has been different with me even the size of my belly strangely my belly was much smaller this time round. Yet he was also out of room. He was 7 pound 8. I hope you go into labor soon!!

OMG ? I can?t imagine how you feel being 8 days over ? I hope you go soon!! I think that I have tried everything possible to induce labour ? I have just given up. I have decided that she will come when she is ready ? even if it is 10 days late and I have a pumpkin baby!

Thanks for the labour vibes!! Hopefully they will kick in soon

I have not been able to drive our car (a manual land cruiser) for about 2 months now ? due to being short and not being able to get the clutch in...Stupid manuals!!
I am really not looking forward to the size of this baby ? DD was 6lb 1oz and DS was 7lb 12oz ? so I am really not expecting anything under about 9lb. Everyone is placing bets on how big the baby is going to be. I swear that I am having twins but all ultrasounds have just shown one munchkin!
Thanks also for the labour vibes.

I know what you went through with the rib pain ? mine is the same. Eating or drinking is such a mission but it has to be done.
