Sounds like just the end of pregnancy to me. Yes, it can and probably will go on for the next 7 or so weeks![]()
I never had any kind of pre labour with Moo, he never engaged until I was in hospital and my waters broke so all this discomfort is new to meFor the last week I've had lower back pain, busting to wee constantly and going through the night at least twice, night sweats, when I stand up I get pressure/pain down below, sore thighs, difficult to walk, strong BH, lots of sharp blows to the cervix...that's all I can think of while I'm nice and comfy sitting down
Is this what they call Pre Labour? Is this going to go on for the next 7 or so weeks?

Sounds like your body is prepping! I started to lose my plug as well as have all these so i knew i was definitely in pre labour and that started at 33 weeks, the BH didnt really amp up until around 36 weeks. I had night sweats, feeling jittery, couldn't sleep, crampy and really sore.
Sounds about right to me too.
Good to know Im not crazy.
Ive had sweats (not just at night), a lot of pressure down low, cramping, feeling out of sort and my hips feel so over stretched and sore when I first stand up.
I knew it was going to get hard but didnt expect all at once lol.
Honey what you are experiencing is end stage pregnancy and it is going to continue (some might even get worse) until your bubby is born. Some of the effects might even hang around for a little while after your bub is born while your body readjust to not being pregnant. Rest up the most you can, drink lots of fluids and just keep thinking about your babe.
Hun sadly I'm not sure that I'd call that "pre-labour" or just "the end of pregnancy" - sorry! I think of pre-labour as BHs, back ache... mild contractions... for me, vomitting and diarrhoea are two lovely ones that indicate labour is starting really soon!
Things like getting up to wee frequently are more just the lack of space in your bladder, cuz bubs is getting big and squishing everything around. But the sharp blows to your cervix, that's definitely going to be helping...
Thanks ladiesI never had this much discomfort the first time. Of course I also didn't have a 2 year old and could laze in bed most of the day LOL!
I didn't have any of that with DS1 either, my waters broke and off we went!DS2 I had a little of it, but DS3 it was really prominent. I could do lots of lazing with DS1 too
