    Smile Pre-labour twilight zone

I was sitting at the computer last night and it felt like a little hand went right down into my pelvis and prodded very low. I went to the toilet and sure enough I had a little leakage of what I think is my hind waters, but the leakage was only the size of a 20c piece - not a lot of liquid at all, but I had 'felt' it like a prod.

About a week ago my belly dropped - I think because of the pelvis sensitivity I can really feel when the little one is scouting around for the way out so it looks like by moving a little lower again, a little leakage has occurred. I was wearing a panty liner and the leakage was at the back of it - so I'm fairly sure this isn't my actual waters breaking and there hasn't been anything more yet.

Had back pain and moderate period-like pain for a few hours in my lower abdomen, but not so bad that I couldn't get to sleep. Baby was still wriggling as normal and even a few kicks to let me know things were cool in there. Got up a few more times during the night but no more water leaks and no further pains.

DH told me I am a bit too relaxed as I didn't call the hospital and just went to bed last night. My instincts say this is a baby getting into launch position, but not labour yet. Oh well.

Hmmmm....I think I'm officially in the "pre-labour twilight zone" now where you spend each day now wondering 'So...is this it??????'

Yay noobie, how exciting. I remember that feeling too. Its exciting .. but also frustrating - I'm impatient so I was just wanting everything to hurry up!

Personally, I wouldnt call the hospital until you really need to... like if you get a big leakage of waters, have some bleeding or start getting contractions.

    Hi Noobie
I love your atitude. I think you are doing the right thing. If there is no more leaking then stay at home and 'try' to relax. Not long to go now hun

Sounds like things are starting up. I think that you are doing the right thing by staying calm and taking it easy until something more substantial happens. Good luck, you're almost there!
