    bubs gone quiet...

Hi all, the last 2 nites (and today) bubbles has gone quiet, i still get kicks but he usually has his 'psycho hour' at nite around 7 or 8pm and he moves non stop for ages. I'm not worried that he's slowed down but can this indicate labour soon??? My hubby and i actually think we are due anytime this week not 2wks time as my ob says...

    Hey MummyNelly

at around 38weeks it is normal for your baby to quieten down...simply as they have less room to do their usual acrobatic routine, and at this stage for a first baby, are generally head down in the pelvis

sorry its not really an indication of impending labor , but if at any stage you think maybe baby has been a bit too quiet, have a ice cold sweet drink to get them moving...if still worried pop to your drs or the hospital just to check baby's heart rate...its always best to feel happy (remember as a guide you should feel one movement per hour)

my baby quietened down last week and I was worried so went to hospital for quick monitor. It was so cool to see the heat rate going up and down! I did it to put mind at ease. Most people say it's usual to go quiet towards end but doesn't always mean labour - damn it!
