    pulse in lower belly

I was just wondering if anyone has ever felt a pulse - it is slower than the pulse in my neck - in their lower abdomen (about under the bump) I am 26 weeks pregnant and have felt it at least once or twice each day this week.
I know I can ask the ob but I am sure it wont happen when I am visiting for a check up.

Can anyone help? Is it an artery? It seems to quick to be hiccups...
    Any tips????

dunno.....could be an artery though, or maybe the placenta? i don't know.... but i would really be inclined to get it checked out. is baby still moving around okay?? hope someone else can give you a better answer Lol.

I get it too, I've never worried about it though, I just thought it was my pulse. Right near your belly button right?

I would suggest this too - DD had hiccups from about 24 weeks onwards non-stop lol

I hope you figure it out soon xx

At 26 weeks bubs is still quite small so hiccups would be pretty quick... That'd be my best guess, personally.

I'd guess hiccups too, I remember that feeling well, it definitely felt like a pulse

    hiccups???

    thanks.
I am still unsure, it tends to happen when I sit down and after eating....it is slower than my pulse and starts in the left or right lower abdomen and today the sensation moved down towards my bottom! so perhaps it is the hiccups...there were a few kicks in between as well as I tried to discover what it was!
Is there any way to stop the hiccups?

I don't think you can stop them! My bubs almost always got the hiccups after I'd just eaten
