I have the opposite.. My bubs doesnt stop moving for hours... then i get painful braxton hicks, then she sleeps, then the process starts all over again!
Aslong as you feel bubs move, thats the main thing. I am hopeing my bubs comes early, my mum comes up from melbourne on friday and goes back monday, so hopeing i have her while she is here.. would be great!
Keep up the wonderful job you are doing in supporting another human being, you are doing the most amazing job in the world!

I used to drive myself crazy ever time bub was quiet for me. I'd drink the cold water (or coke!! oops) and that would liven him up. My OB said that sometimes bub has a crazy full on kicking day and sometimes a very quiet one, especially later in pg b/c of the lack of room etc. As long as you can feel it move every day it's all good. Even if it's a little poke!
awww hun, I am not a fan of the quiet days as well, yesterday was one of them, I only got movements just before my OB appointment at 2:30pm, then during my scan wouldn't stop moving and made it very difficult for my OB to do the Dopplers!
She said to me 10 a day as well I haven't been counting them yet as things seem to be going along well atm, but I guess I wil start taking more notice on the quieter days, but my bubs still has plenty of growing to do.

My bubs is the same, sometimes he'll have busy days and then others it seems he hardly moves at all. A bit like his Mum actually! I'm not getting many kicks now, more squirms and rolls- and I'm thinking some of it happens when I'm doing other things

I was never a fan of quiet days either, but some days I was fluffing about so much doing stuff I realised quite often I wasn't really noticing all the movement bub was actually doing, itms? I always noticed the 3am wake up calls though, pity I couldn't sleep through them! And yep my MW's always said 10 movements in a day, and if you get them all in a 3 hour block, it's still 10 movements for that day. Easier said than done not to worry about it though.
I'm always 'checking' bub by rolling over to a different side in bed, having a cold drink etc....
I've found our bub's movements to never have a set pattern and it's confusing when they react to sugary foods and then all of a sudden they don't! Little monkeys'
