Red face Quite wet .... a little TMI

    How embarrassing.
    hehe

I have noticed over the last week that I am constantly 'wet' down there. If I don't wear a panty liner, I have to change my underwear 2-3 times a day.
I figured it was just a nice pregnancy related increase in discharge... does that sound right?
I'm not very worried, I'm not having any pains or anything and bubs is moving, albeit not as much as a week ago, but she doesn't have alot of room now.
I have a scan and appt with OBS tomorrow, so was just going to hang out till then to ask about it.... but curiosity has the better of me.

    Normal??

it can be normal. then again it can be a fluid leak, ask your OB tomorrow.
It can be checked for you to determine what it is and put your mind at ease.

I remeber having an increase in discharge during third trimester. Just mention it at your next appointment.

    Not long to go now!

I've had a few episodes where i thought i might be leaking but no just me being paraniod. There was a thread on here about leaking. but to sum it up go to the loo & completely empty your bladder. then stand with feet hip with apart and cough or stand at the sink and move hips in a circulr direction and see if you get any more leaks.

I have also had increased discharge. Got a glob on the weekend when i wiped it was really slimy. i looked at tp and it had about a little fingertip of goo. I hadn't had sex that day but had just done a bowel movement (i think we dtd the night before but surely that would have been out by then this was arvo) so i must have passed a small collection of it at once. Kept checking the rest of the day but it just went back to normal.

I am the same - keep getting little blobs (looks like clag, remember that glue they use in kindergarten?) and am generally wetter than normal.

Blonde - a clag looking discharge could be thrush. My baby is forever thumping on the cervix - feet on the ribs, head first force. It hurts a lot, but it also means my plug is taking damage a lot, so I get a lot of snotty ewcm. Basically my plug is constantly regenerating. But when I got thrush, it gained chunks - most commonly described as cottage cheese.

Nai - if it has a gooey like quality then its normal pg cm. But if its just a fluid, then try Alan's suggestion - posted here by maybe - and see if you are worring about a potential fluid leak.

    Thanks everyone.
It's not pluggy type discharge at all. It's mainly clear (sometimes has a slight watery/creamy consistency to it), and watery. Could be a weak bladder and pelvic floor muscle issue I spose... I think that's what I keep trying to tell myself.

I'll give the cough thing a go and see if I get anything.

Thing is if its a pelvic floor thing the coughing can still cause it to happen, believe me

It sounds like discharge to me. An increase in discharge late in pregnancy is normal

Don't know if anyone is still watching this thread?
But I was glad to find it, I have had the same thing with this pregnancy only... bub #1 started with a hind water leak & I was a bit worried about that this time as I am only 29+ weeks, have had this dampness for over a week or so now...I am wearing a panty liner, if I don't I end up with damp clothes.. but I figured if it was a leak it would be soaking through, & it's not.
Asked my GP about it yesterday & he was very casual, said it would probably be discharge or weak bladder... what a pleasant thought...

Oh darl I could have written this exact post myself. It's normal for CM to increase in our 3rd trimester. Just charming isn't it, LOL! I have to wear panty liners constantly or it's several pairs of knickers each day and that's just way to must washing for me, LOL!!

PMSL 'Clag' is how I often describe CM too! So glad to hear I'm not alone!

I'm only in the second tri but my CM has increased recently. Mine is more like a 'snail-trail' at the moment. Lovely

It's totally normal. I either go through a liner every few hours, or a new pair of knickers. I actually went to the hossy to make sure it wasn't my waters and it was just normal discharge. I had to lie down for a few hours without a liner, and my shorts got damp and I felt so uncomfortable. Just another joy of pregnancy .
