    Raspberry Leaf Tea

Quick one, how much Raspberry Leaf Tea should I drink for it to have any kind of effect?
I bought a pack of the teabags today, am I meant to constantly drink it or just a couple per day?

I had about 2-3 cups of tea a day. Any more and it made me feel sick.

Loose leaves are better than the bags. As much as you can handle really. I am taking the tablets this time. Much easier.

I got the tablets too. Last time I took the tabs and drank the tea but just the teabag style with cranberry and other yummy flavours in it as well. I don't think the tea helped because of the low concentrate but I believe the tablets helped DD to turn and then helped get my uterus back into shape afterwards

I had a few a day. The night before I went into spontaneous labour, I had three MASSIVE mugs of the stuff in the evening alone

Thanks for the replies! I am just drinking as much as I can, I actually really like it, although I do put a sugar in it to sweeten it...having lots of braxton hicks and period pains, I am just hoping this will tip me over the edge and get it all started

I put honey in to sweeten it, I had a couple of cups a day and I took the tablets as well. I think the tablets are equivalent to about 8 cups?

thanks Taurean. I thought that might be the case since I tried my local supermarket and chemist and they didn't have any. My nearest health food store is 200kms away so it will just have to wait I spose.

What effect are you expecting? It's just a tonic for your uterus, won't make you go into labour

Yep, with MadB - wont induce labour, research shows it will shorted 2nd stage labour (pushing) and assist your uterus with contracting back to normal post delivery. I didn't get to 2nd stage with DS, but my uterus was back to normal pretty quick smart Good luck!
