    relaxin SUCKS! owwwwwwwwwies!

ok, so maybe it' doesn't suck - but it's not great

yeah, it means we can carry bubbas but it also makes all our other joints lovely and loose, and given i have a dodgy wrist that dislocates sometimes, it's been a fairly long pregnancy so far. it hurts like all get up, but at least it's loose enough for me to pop it back in now....

well, tonight i was sitting here with my dodgy arm across my tummy, hand tucked under my other arm to keep my fingers warm - gremlin kicking away happily - well, her happy turned into pain for me cos she kicked just hard enough in just the right spot to dislocated my wrist again! hurt like all hell!

ah well, i fixed it, and i'm ok - but i seriously never thought an unborn bub and some pg hormones would do that to me!

Wow now that is something to tell her when she's older. You know in the tone of "Do you know what I went through to have you...."

The whole loose ligaments and so on is whats getting me. I'll lay out on my back in the morning and have my "wake up stretch", out go my legs as far as i can possibly point them to the end of the bed, then i set a landspeed record getting them back up into the foetal position because both of my groin muscles feel like their getting sawed through with a rusty fork.
After doing this ritual every-single-morning, you would think i would have learned by now?????
    Nope

It's a real blessing, but also a real pain at times, I remember.

Yeah, you should see what those hormones/extra weight/extra blood supply has done to my veins

Pregnancy is awesome but it does some not so awesome things to our bodies.
