    Hey Scooby

I've had a few episodes of nausea recently, not sure what's causing it. I think I might be eating too much for my squashed-up stomach to handle.

But perhaps you've got a mild tummy bug?

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, although it sounds quite unpleasant.

Hope you get some replies from more experienced people than me.

How're you doing apart from the nausea? Not long to go now!!

Scooby it is possible to have a tummy bug with no vomiting. My DH had one twice in the past 2 months which was no vomiting.

Don't feel paranoid about calling your midwife/ob though, that's what they're there for hun and they understand. I'd possibly call them only because of your lower back pain.

definately ring the midwife. There is a condition in pregnancy that causes nausea. Something to do with the liver or something but very rare. But check just to be sure. This is your baby so who cares if they think you are paranoid. That's what they are there for.

re: the condition, I just got over 3 days of what my doc thinks was a tummy bug (vomiting only, no runs) and he did send me for a urine test - it's kidney function apparently.

Scooby, forgot to mention that yes unfortunately some people do get a return of m/s later in pregnancy too. I hope that it's not that and that you've just had a mild bug and all is good.

    Hey Scooby

I'm doing fine, thanks. Getting really impatient though! I just want to meet our baby! Need to try to enjoy these last few weeks. Four more weeks of work after this one - yippeee!!

If you're worried about it, I would call your midwife - that's what they're there for, and most likely she will tell you you're fine, then you don't have to worry about it any more. I'm sure they get 'paranoid' pg women calling all the time about all sorts of things! Hope you feel better soon hun.
