BB - it worked for me with DS. On the Tuesday morning, had a S&S. That night started having contractions - 2am Wednesday morning went to the Hospital and 6:56am he was born (via c-sect but I was in labour)

Been thinking of you hun! Can't wait to read your BA!

    meh.
    grrrrr.

    nothing...

Had regular contractions 4mins apart, lasting a min. At some I went to bed to lay down, passed out. Contractions lessened (obviously), and now Im up and not sure what to do. I have a lot of downward pressure, Ive had more show, with blood. Now I feel lost, never had this before.

Go for a big walk and try to get things moving again. Hopefully that pressure on your cervix will push things along.

I hope today is the day. Come on, Sprout!

    thanks nickle, same here.

Im feeling a tad down this morning. A walk sounds good. Might even clear my head a little. I know tomorrow is induction day, I dont want to make it to that. Worse still is Im starting to worry that something is wrong and thats stressing me out even more, Im sure that isnt helping things along.

Sounds like a walk would be good for you in every way.

Is there anything in particular which makes you feel like something is 'wrong' or just normal pg worrying?

It's hard knowing you have a deadline for induction, but it sounds like things are already starting to happen so even if you do make it to tomorrow hopefully you won't need much to start the process and your body will do most of the work on its own.

Maybe take a long walk then lie down for a while and have a good chat to Sprout about the next day or two and what's going to happen. I reckon being in the right head space for birth is just as important as your body being physically ready.

i agree with nickle - go for a walk & hopefully that will clear your head. i know you don't want to be induced but maybe make peace with yourself & that it may happen. i know i was resisting my induction with DS all the way (as in, even during labour i was still annoyed!!) & i think that affected my headspace & my ability to focus on birthing a baby. have some nutritious food & a restful day

whatever happens, you're close to meeting your sprout & that's exciting

and if you're concerned about anything, call the hospital to double check - there's nothing wrong with making sure

Yep, what Nickle and sloane said. It is a lovely cool (maybe a bit windy) day for a walk.

And I just add one of these from me.

I hope the walk helped BB. Even if u do get to induction tomorrow, since things have started a bit u might just get away with cervadil.gel & tape. That's all I had for my induction n my labour was natural n drug free otherwise n was only four hrs. So having an induction can still turn out ok if u are confident in urself to birth ur baby.
I.do hope things happen for u today tho. Xx all the best either way

A walk definitely but also consider a little DTD with hubby or if not in the mood/he is not around, try a little self satisfaction which apparently can hurry baby up

If all else fails you can request to start slow on induction ... my OB told me that if I needed inducing but was hesitant she would start me on the lowest dose of the drip thingy, or the gels or whatever and to give each time to work - not rush from one step to another. You can demand what you feel comfortable with.

    Thanks ladies,

well yesterday it poured rain all day.. So going for a walk where it was dry was hard to find, but... Bunnings the ultimate walking area! We spent hrs up there walking around buying random stuff. And we had a nice hot curry for dinner too... Seemed to work too.

downside of a nice hot curry, it goes straight into my milk! Must remember that one in the future!!!
