    Unhappy Scary Day

Why did my wonderful morning have to turn bad!!
I slept in peacefully till 10am yesterday. I went out
for lunch with mum and 2yr old nephew, then we
went to a friends for afternoon tea, did a little shopping
and then I came home and sat down to relax.....

About 4ish I went to the toilet and discovered I was
bleeding, I thought the wetness was just more mucous
as I have had a bit lately (sorry!!) So I panicked when
I seen blood, and I got real scared b/c it was bright red
and quite a lot, so I rang the hospital and the midwife
told me to go up there, so mum came and took me, They
did an internal and put these straps across my tummy, and
Baby’s heartbeat was there and still strong, I was so relieved!!
The Dr isn’t sure where the bleeding was coming from, but
He just told me to spend the weekend resting and if nothing
else happens, great, but I need to make an appointment to see
him on Monday. He told me that baby has turned, and is right
down low in the pelvis, but not quite engaged yet, very close though.
I had another anti d injection b/c of the bleed.

I was really scared b/c I thought something had happened to baby
And I was on my own and I panicked. I cant wait till my son is born
    And healthy.

What a scarey thing to go through!! So happy that everything is OK.. Take it easy and rest up. Maybe the turn of the baby caused the bleed??

Hi Jess How scary, I'm glad everything is ok though. How many weeks are you now? It sounds like your close to going into labour, I hope everything else goes smoothly for you, try not to stress, just relax and put your feet up and think of the beatiful little boy you'll soon be seeing, once he's out then you'll know how he is, instead of all the wondering we all have to go through.
    Take care

Jess sweety - hope your feeling better now. I had a major bleed similar to what you described at the start of my second tri and the drs couldnt figure out where it came from, so just take their advice and rest - put your feet up and your bubba will be just fine.

jess, I'm sorry to hear about your bad day.

I too would be scared, I hope you did rest over the weekend, and that everything is better today. At least your mum was there.

Thankyou everyone for your kind words and support, I have been to the dr and as theres no more bleeding he is happy, ethans heartbeats fine and he is still a little worm, i have just been told to cut down on everything and pretty much keep my feet up for the rest of the pregnancy. Thankyou again.
