thread: Seriously painful Leg cramps? Any idea why & how to stop them?

    I got them behind my left knee a lot, I found I got less if I layed on my right side instead.

    I had them threatening to come ALL the time while i was pregnant, particularly towards the end. I say 'threatening" cos i could feel it coming on and was able to move my leg in a way to avoid getting it, dont ask me how i could do that though cos i cant remember how i did it, i just would do it.............i think i would move my foot downwards, cos moving it up would bring the cramp on full force............i dunno, but anyway i have noticed the cramps have gone since giving birth.

    I hope they ease up soon for you cos they are so painful and leave u feeling battered and bruised for the rest of the day dont they.

    Omg- I'm hearing you!!! I wake up on agony!!! Before getting pregnant i used to get them bike riding. But now every morning!!! Nothing is helping them! Tried milk, bananas, magnesium, salt tablets!! If anyone has a special formula please do tell!!!
