    Open cervix...tmi question

Sorry as the title says, might be tmi...

My ob said yesterday when he did an internal that my cervix is ripe and open ( possibly 2cm from what dh thought he heard). Does this mean dtd is out of the question? I'm just not sure if it's a risk to bubba because it's obviously not completely sealed off now??

Help! (actually more help for dh haha)

It's fine, it's only if your membranes (water) have broke that you can't

He certainly will! Is it better that he *ahem* wears protection or will the waters keep bubs fine?

It's something in semen that apparently helps kick things off so better if he doesn't.

    There's no risk to baby

bub will be fine if waters are intact.

Sperm actually contains prostinglandins which help the cervix (basically what the gel is they put on your cervix if inducing), plus female orgasm is said to stir things up to with the muscles contracting and relaxing. so without baby!!
