    Sick at 35 weeks - what can I do/take?

It seems I've picked up a cold Sore throat, dry mouth, blocked nose, dry cough, headache, generally feeling like crap! Add that to being massively pregnant and I'm looking for some relief! Is there anything I can do or take to feel better? I had very little sleep last night and don't think tonight will be any better. I had kids at daycare today but I have both boys for the next two days so even resting is hard - they are 2 and 4.5 so very full on!

If nothing else- thanks for letting me whinge!!!

I always find honey and lemon drinks make me feel better..

And I use Badgers chest balm on the kids (and me) when sick and feels so nice..

But if either of those don't suit, whinge away.. Hope you feel better soon..

I just squeeze lemon and about a spoonful of honey (Manuka if you have it), and fill cup with boiling water and stir. I often wait till it is cold to drink it though.. Add sugar while it is still hit to get it to your desired taste..

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the advice! Im going to try the honey lemon drink today. I'm currently on the Panadol/butter menthol/ eukey bearub regime. (Google seemed to think all these ok) Lots of fresh fruit, juice etc. No soups - I don't cook I tried to get a pre made pouch of organic chicken soup - but it contained gluten (I'm coeliac) I feel like utter crap but did manage some sleep so that's a bonus! I have 12 hours till DH is home from work, fingers crossed the kids behave! Lots of screen time on offer today I think!
