    silly question on baby's position

    Ok ladys, just wondering, i know i really should know this but i don't But can i get little miss to get out of my pelvis?? I want her to move up, iykwim. I can't cross my legs atm, and my VJ is hurting. Anyway if any of you know how to get a baby to move up, i would really love to hear them!!!

    My bub was 4/5ths engaged from 30 weeks, every time I crouched down it felt like everything was going to fall out! It seemed to stay there for a few weeks and now just pops up and down when it feels like it.

    Sorry, that is probably no help at all - my guess is she will move when she feels like it

    Have no idea if this will work or not but saw it somewhere (another thread???) for getting baby to move from under ribs - wait for it ...... frozen peas (or any frozen veggie pack). The idea was to place the frozen item in the area where the baby was digging into and the baby would move from that area because it wouldn't like the cold !!!!!

    Like it said no idea if it will work if the baby is in pelvis area as this might mean that it is partially engaged. But might be worth the try ????

    There's not much you can do to move her out of there all the time - after all, that is where the exit is and she's designed to make a beeline for it

    But if you're really uncomfortable you can get down on the floor with your bum in the air - that should take the pressure off for a while.

    Swimming is also wonderful for this - probably the last thing you feel like doing but once you're in the water, it's bliss. The relief from gravity for a while is just amazing. Just get in there and loll around, you don't have to swim. When I was very heavily pregnant with both of mine I used to go to the pool every few days for some relief. Good for swollen legs/ankles as well, takes all the puff out.

    hahaha im so trying this today!!! I had the worst sleep last night to little miss down there and lots of BH, man i hate complaining but seriously. Im looking like such a lady right now, sitting here with my legs spread, DH dream. Oh well 10wks of this and i then get to hold my little miracle The joys of pregnancy hay.

    Ha ha -had a real chuckle when I was posting the suggestion - images running through the mind .
    Let us know how it works - though not sure how long you will be able to leave it there - I know how bad it is when my hubbie rubs my belly and his hands are cold !!!!! (Yeah he thinks its funny and knows my ability to get him back is limited ).

    What about a pregnancy girdle? I have one for back issues and my physio gets me to use it every now and then and it kinda lifts the kid or at the least some of the weight up and off my pelvis so I'm in less pain. It might give you a bit of a relief!
