Hey Kate

I too have started to have BIG problems! I too suffer hip pain and also lumbar and thoracic back pain and breathlessness!!! It's a drag!

I have one pillow either side of my belly to support the weight if I'm on either side but thinking of investing in a bellybean - one pillow instead of two. I also have a pillow between my legs which eases the pressure on the hips and lower back greatly! My brother injured his back years ago and this is the first thing the Ambos said to do and it's really comfortable. Only issue with that is when you swap sides you have to fiddle with the pillow but I guess that's our lot at the moment isn't it!

I have been enjoying sleeping flat on my back or semi on my back for the entire pregnancy until now Now I can't breathe properly as bubs is taking up too much space so often have to almost sit up - which then hurts my backside after a while!

For those of you wondering it's perfectly fine to sleep on your back! You body will let you know (as it has done me now) if you need to move! I was even woken in the middle of a lovely slumber and had to move because I needed more air LOL

Ahhh the joys!! It's no wonder we are tired during the day!

Good luck with the pillow positioning!

If all else fails get DH to give you a rub ahhhh Any excuse will do
