I'm same as katters I had that at 38w, and turned out to be high bp. Please get it checked out.

Agree with others. AFAIK, vision disturbance can be associated with BP issues. I'd see a doctor or go to yr maternity unit ASAP.

High blood pressure, which could lead to Pre eclampsia. Ring your midwife or birth suite and them her know.
I was induced at 36 weeks with the same issue.
I hope you are just fine though xx

Thanks for the info guys. I wasn't sure if it was just some random pregnancy thing. The weird thing is, it went away (this time) about 5 mins after I posted the original post. I might give my ob a ring and see what they say.... Is it likely to be blood pressure if it's just small episodes though, or would it be more likely if it was a longer one?

Chody I had the same thing last week after my BT measured up. It almost looked like me vision was crinkled and flashing. It lasted around 10 mins then went away. Give them a call and see what they say

Joeve, what did your doc say about this? I just tried to ring my ob office but no one is in at the moment. Not sure whether just to try later or ring the hospital.
