Is anyone else experiencing a really bad aching type pain just under their boobs??? At first it felt like a stretching type pain and I just figured it was the muscles working overtime to keep hold of all the extra weight of my tummy - I'm all out in front!!! But now, it's getting so much worse and it almost feels like a burning type sensation on the outside of my skin.
Last night, it was really bad and and no matter what position I got myself into, it ached like nothing else!! Between that and my lower back pain, I just felt like crying all night! The only position that would help the aches was to lie on my back and then bubs just swashes all my internal organs, so that certainly wasn't an option!! I just don't know what to do with myself anymore. I can't even get comfortable lying on the couch, I'm only comfortable moving around and then I just get sooo tired.
Just interested in knowing if anyone else is/has experienced anything like this and what you did to get through. I can't handle another three weeks of this!!!
Hey Kelly, with all the preemclamcia stuff I am reading it says that pain on the upper abdomin is a symptom so it might be worth reading up what the symptoms are and if it seems relevent to at least call the dr and ask what they think. The BB article is here https://www.bellybelly.com.au/pregna...psia-pregnancy Better safe than sorry. It isn't much fun anymore is it.
I got pain under my breasts for a little while, it was sort of in my ribs. It would have been around 33-35 weeks I think? My skin there felt as if I had chafing there - burny and sort of numb like as if I had rubbed the area repeatedly. Is that what you are getting?
If so, I found that when she started to engage it eased a bit. I used to walk around trying to hold my belly up lol. Sometimes I even tied a scarf around my waist to pull up my bellly and this sort of helped a bit.
I have a constant pain on my left rib and it feels like burning. If I touch it it's like a bruise. Is this what you have?
It is killing me because I have to hold myself in a funny position all the time and so now my back is aching. I think it's just the position of the baby so there's not much we can do.
Do you have a pillow between your legs when you sleep. This is the only thing that slightly helps although I am like you, can't sleep on my back and can't sleep on my left either. A heat pack is good too.
Yeah, its kind of like my skin has been burnt or something and when I touch it yeah, it's a bit like bruising I guess. It just seems to ache ALL night long and when I try and lie down on the couch. It's not quite as bad during the day - although by the afternoon it's pretty bad again and my bra just agrivates (sp?) it - I have to take it off all the time now!! It's just driving me mad - one of those annoying things that I just don't think I can handle for another three weeks.
OMG Kellym me too - yep mine feelsl ike its burning i thought it may have been because i had had surgery on my ribs a few years ago - but i guess not...
the only thing that helps me is to place my hand on it and sort of push it down a bit....
