I know there are no hard and fast answers as to early signs of labour, but generally speaking, does baby movement decrease before labour? Or is that only closer to 40 weeks or overdue babies who have started to run out of room?

I got sick with a cold last night, but all day today I've had lower back aches, more pressure on my pelvis & feeling tighter lower belly, and I don't really feel like eating (even though I'm a bit growly in the tummy) - this last one could be signs of the cold though...

But then bubs is going nutso, kicking quite regularly & rhythmically in the one spot, as well as shifting around a bit? I am only 37 weeks 5 days, but this is my first and I'm feeling very confused....
