Stretch and Sweep questions!

Kim a S&S at 2cm before EDD did nothing for me but one done at 4 days over and 3cm could have

My S&S with DD2 I was 2cm dilated like you were and it was 2 days before my due date and she was born on her due date! I had the same bloody mucus too.

I am a bit sceptical about s&s... I have no doubt it brings on contractions, but I don't know if it is enought to sustain labour.

Having said that I had one done at 5days post edd with DD#2 and I went into labour the next morning. However, I checked my cervix before I went to the dr and I could feel things had changed and told DP that I thought it wouldn't be too much longer...

I didnt really know what an S&S was
until I asked my ob/gyn on one of my last check ups when I was pregnant with Cierra.
He was giving me my internal check at the time ...and he gave me this lil smirk and changed the subject! Within 3 days I had birthed Cierra.

All I wanted was Info man...

Just think, this time on Australia day you KNOW you wont be pregnant so its all good! lol He'll be along shortly....have you scrubbed the kitchen floor on your hands and knees yet?...

With DD I had S&S and contractions started mildly soon after, DD was born about 32 hours later.

I had a s&s with dd, immediately after that I was having contractions and bloody mucous discharge for most of the day then that night completely stopped, the next day I had nothing at all then the morning after that whoosh my waters broke, so you could say it took a couple of days hope this helps
