    Unhappy Suddenly very very nervous

I will start by saying that I HAVE previously had a VBAC so this is not a new "to be birth experience"

I have experienced some pulling, mild pain and discomfort around my c-sect scar as I have been growing and expanding which I know is relatively normal.

    HOWEVER

Yesterday I stood up from having been sitting in one position for a while and I felt a twang right under my sect scar on the right hand side. Its really really sore to the point that its effecting my ability to walk.

I cannot see any bruising around the area and i am hoping that its nothing more than a pulled muscle but suddenly I am seriously scared of going for my BBAC (better birth after c-sect).

Can someone please put my mind at ease and tell me its nothing more than a pulled muscle and my scar is still strong and will hold up to my next birth .... PULEASE

    Thanks Nae x

I have no experience but could you get checked out by your MW. I really hope that its just a pulled muscle and you get your BBAC

I have felt twangs in the past that have made me worry (I posted once about it after DD2). When is your next checkup? I would ask just for peace. I am sure that it is just one of those many things (that happen with your body post babies) and I am positive you will get you BBAC

Ohh and I can't wait to hear babys name, how am I going to survive another 12 weeks!

I'm slightly (just slightly, not alarmingly ) worried that you are saying it is so sore. I hope it improves over night.

TBH Ive been getting really sharp pains in my side, low down (like a really bad pulled muscle) sometimes I can't stand upright properly it hurts so much - and Ive never had a C-sect! So perhaps its not scar related at all. Definitely get it checked at your next appointment though.
Try not to worry just yet

I did it yesterday :S and this morning it was fine until I sat back on the couch for a while and got up again (I was finishing the quilt).

If its still sore like this tomorrow I will give the hossy a call, not much point calling today being a sunday

    Hey ladies,

thanks for checking in, I suspect its a pulled muscle I was fine this morning a little tender but generally fine until I twisted somehow and its sore again. I think because of the location that its likely to be a problem for a little while, much the same as cutting your finger on a joint area ITMS. I will still mention it next week at my Ob appointment and I cannot see any bruising and its not sore to touch unless I move so thats why I am thinking more muscular.

    talk about a freak out

    thanks again so much x x x x

I'm glad to hear that it is feeling better, well was feeling better

Please do not speak of cutting your finger in the joint, ouch, it makes me light headed
