To add to what Trish is saying, I was told when I had a very late scan that I was having a big baby with a head "much bigger than normal". I was more than a bit worried how I would get through labour after hearing this. My DD was born 5 days late, 3.5kgs, head circumference of 35.5cm and length of 50cm - in other words spot on what is considered normal weight, length and h/c.
DO NOT worry about them telling you that you have a big baby. Sure, sometimes they'll be right but I have heard of so many stories where women are unnecessarily worried by comments like this that just simply aren't true. Your body is designed to birth babies - you'll be absolutely fine.
