    Try dandelion tea, it is helpful, as is nettle tea, and they are both full of vitamins and minerals as well.

    If I start puffing up I drink a few cups for a few days, and it sorts me out beautifully

    resting with feet up and wrapped in cold flannels is good.

    Also watermelon is a diuretic (removes fluid) but be very careful if you have GD as watermelon is also a bit high in sugar.

    shove a couple pillows under ur mattress down where your feet are. It will aid in helping the swelling go down. As for you hands i found coldness helped mine alot. Just sitting there with a cold fash washer with a few ice cubes.
