Your body is doing exactly what it should

And if you are wanting to avoid induction I wouldn't agree to anything at your appointment on Monday, being only 40 + 6 then you are not overdue. Your prelabour will be doing all good things to your cervix and if you do decide to 'bring on labour' you will possibly only need your waters broken.

But to be honest, if you have done everything to help establish labour and nothing has worked, baby is just not ready yet
