You're all kind Bel, how *you* doing?

I'm really benefiting from not going in to work. Keeping my feet up is making all the difference and all the crampiness has disappeared and I'm not getting regular contractions any more, just bouts of them her and there. I think nature was telling me it was time to stop. I'm trying hard not to feel guilty about lounging around!

    Hey TM,

Was just checking in to make sure your DS is still sitting comfy with the food on tap. Glad to hear he is. Sons are such wonderful gifts. I love my girls, but my darling boys are so incredibly sweet and loving. My DS2 spent a week in NICU when he was born, but the care in there is amazing and the nurses and midwives, I found, are so good with NICU mums, so if you do end up early, you will both be in wonderful hands, so don't let thinking about the what ifs play on your mind either.

And dont you dare feel guilty for lounging! I am only 24wks and I am lounging every chance I get! LOL. Make sure you have some helping hands come the weekend. Here is hoping enough rest will stop it and everything will go smoothly from there.

Here is fingers crossed I wont be reading a birth announcement for weeks yet. for you.

Awww thanks Inertia I'm sorry to hear your wee one had a rough start. My main concern at this point I guess would be getting breastfeeding going. I know he'd be fine in the long run but I wouldn't relish the difficulties I've heard can happen with establishing b/fing in a premmie.

My eldest dd is keeping me company today - I haven't seen much of her since she moved out and w'ere having a lovely day together. She's such a sweetheart.

Yes! Well that is a challenge. The NICU I was at had everything to help me express and were amazingly supportive of my desire to BF despite the fact that it was 4 days before Sam could come out of the humidicrib (right lung collapsed during birth and it took that long to clear out the chest cavity and re-inflate it and get it working properly). The paediatrician got me a motillium prescription so that I could keep up my supply given how difficult it is to start out as EBM. If that becomes a concern, talk to them about that - and I am sure you can get it done though.

We are women, dammit! Hear us roar! LOL.
