    Too much movement?

    Hi there!

I know this is not really anything to complain about... but i am receiving kicks punches and head butts galore!!

I was just wondering, is there anything wrong with so many movements?? I've had scans heaps... not that this is a prob. I always see him kicking around.

I know that anything under 10 movements in 8 hours is a worry, but what about 30+ in 8 hours???

I have heard plenty of movements = happy healthy baby.... but hopefully this also doesnt mean a.. psycho baby!!! lol

    Cheers all

    Nicky,

By my 3rd tri Olivia was going mental. Dancing like a disco diva. I had a posterior placenta so could feel it all. At the time I didn't worry, as it was my first, but I have since gone on to have 2 more who moved a lot lot less.

That said, she is 100% perfect. She is now 3, and whilst she has her moments, like all children, she has never been "hypo" at all........in fact, she is more placid than most, I think.

I do remember sitting at lunch one day (at around 7 months pg with her? It was my leaving do from work.......) simply not being able to concentrate on anything at all as she was literally jumping around, dancing, kicking and twirling.........LOL!

No there is nothing wrong with your baby. You may find that in the next few days you may get very little movements as your baby has a rest/sleep
