    TWW all over again!! *doh*

So have hit the 38week mark and feel as though I am experiencing that TWW we used to discuss when we were all TTC!!

    • Have no idea what my body is doing,
    • Have no idea what all these pains and aches and feelings really mean
    • And can do fat diddly squat about it all right now, except wait LOL!!

Anyone else here as well?!?! (oh and FYI, imo, the TWW feeling/syndrome can start anytime during pg! )

I hear ya LOL. The last two weeks is really hard because you know it is basically anytime from now. I usually go back the being a cronic knicker-checker looking for a show and over anaylising every twinge down there.

Its the worst TWW you ever have to go thru i reckon!!!

I'm with you. I always had a feeling I would go 2 weeks early - I guess not!
I feel like I don't want to make plans since I could be having the baby - which I course I haven't been. I only finish work today. I never thought I would actually have to work right till the end. I figured I would have had bubs by now.

With DS I watched for every sympton near the end and had nothing until I woke with the first contractions and they continued until I had him that day. This time, I had a show, I have had irregular contractions for some time and periods where they are 5 minutes appart and then stop. Now I am relaxing more since I know it is all a false alarm. The baby will come when it comes. When all this pre-labour started I thought it was the real thing.

Sherie!!!!! I too am back having that love/hate relationship with the loo and my knickers!!! Un-beeeeeeeee-leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-vable!!

MelH - I admire your relaxed position as I am thinking that a falsey would be more frustrating thinking it's the real deal and then it's not!

Don't worry - I haven't been relaxed. I think as of today I have just given up after so many false alarms. People have been asking how I am and I almost burst into tears every time.

MelH - oh! Am sending you hugs sweety!! I had a day of BH/contractions but there is nooooooooooo way that I am going to let anyone know (apart from DH of course - although he was around to watch the fun - LOL!!!) I don't want people asking me more that what they already do! I even had SIL ring today and ask if I think that I am going to go sooner rather than later - at this stage, I'd really rather focus on everything else but!! Bit hard when a) your belly wobbles all the time & b) people keep dragging your attention back to thinking about when baby might make his or her appearance!

Teepee2 - I know what you mean about driving you crazy - DH included! I twinge and DH turns and says without missing a beat, "Going into labour now?!?!" He even wanted me to ring his mum to get her to ensure her bags where packed and ready after yesterday's experience - hehehe!

LOL .. I never really thought that the last 2 weeks of pregnancy could be classified as the TWW!! But it would be the case wouldnt it.... DOH! Time to drive ourselves insane again with over analysing.

Atleast I am a few more weeks away from that TWW!

LOL Charly! According to my DH every little niggle I feel whether it be painful or not is a contraction and he immediately asks where my hospital is Half the time he's still half asleep when he says it - like he's on auto pilot

I know what you mean! Counting those days, and worrying (or feeling excited) about every little twinge!!! Mind you, in my current situation, I'm not sure I want to go into labour before next Tuesday.

Before he goes to work, my husband asks "are you going to go into labour today?". My standard response is no, I don't think so!

i text my DH the numbers for the hospital & obs the other day so he can put them into his phone. He rang me back, panic, "Do i need to call them now?" I think somehow i will break the 'news' to him a little better then that

Feathertop - be thinking of you on Tuesday!

Oh my gosh the two week wait is going on forever!!! I have only four days until my EDD & had hardly any symptoms that indicate going into labor - no show - nothing. I am with you on the love hate relationship with the nickers! Going nuts with the EPO & RLT. The most I have had is one bout of BH. Does this mean I have a FWW (four week wait) LOL.

Hopefully not too much longer for all of us now. Many hugs & warm wishes to you all X

PS mum2bee I love your quote at the bottom of you signature - just beautiful!

After a deliberate looooooooong shopping trip in which the only loss was that of dollar value (no plugs, no gushing waters ) tapping her fingers impatiently, Charlyfrog sighs and says out loud to no one in particular, "*sigh* still here"

    *giggle, giggle*

nelliesbelly TWW = two week wait.
Mostly used in the TTC period, between ovulation and waiting for AF to arrive. (i think)

Oops I got the whole TWW confused... I pressumed it was the wait for bubs to arrive from 38 weeks LOL You can tell Im new at this!
