Thanks Sez It is relevant because it is still an episiotomy with the recovery that comes with that. A small fear of mine after seeing one done as a student nurse (I know - you probably don't feel it at the time but the image is clear in my mind!!!!) But it is a compromise I am more than willing to make for a vaginal delivery option. And thank you for the good wishes.
