Yeah the MW's didn't believe me that water gave me heart burn! I'll ask the OB tomorrow if there is anything strong I can take... roll on this time next week... no more heart burn lol
Maybe try some quick-eze. I basically lived on them for the last 2 months of my pregnancy.
DD was in breech and was pushing her head into my stomach.
It was murder.
I started on quick eze, then moved to gaviscone (sp?) and about two weeks ago moved onto zantac... might need to take a swig of gaviscone before I head to bed otherwise it's gonna be a sleepless night again...
I ran out of quick eze although grabbed some fruit tingles from the gas station this afternoon
does milk help...it would take the edge off a little nit ...some nights I would have to sleep upright but even then I would get it! Feel your pain hun. Try tums as well they worked for me! x
Nope, and even tried yogurt... so much fun lol not fingers crossed it will ease... I've finally come to terms that this little man will not be arriving until Tuesday next week and I'd prefer for it to disappear... (I had my fingers crossed for a slightly earlier arrival)
oh i hear you...with DD it was just god aweful. I was in so much pain all the time it wasnt funny. I think it was the amount of food/type of foods i was eating because i put on 30 something kilo....................I would wake up and vomit from the acid rising up my stomach. This time it has been bad but luckily not as bad...think i have put on 10-13 kilos..........and not eating the same.......I think i am on one of the strongest tablets you can get with this pregnancy which is losec and take twice a day and i still manage to get heart burn. I find things like breads, muffins, biscuits, acidy fruits, orange juice/juice, tomatoes, curries etc give me bad heart burn so try and stay away from those and try and eat earlier in the night. I know if i am stressing it tends to make it worse as well. I take the tablets but also use those chewie ones, i try milk and also last time when i was in bed i had yoghurt and that seemed to work...
