Very sharp pains with BH - just cervix stretching??

I have been getting some very sharp pains along with my BH today - its so sharp it really takes my breath away and I can't ignore them.

TMI** i get the BH and then within about 10 seconds of it starting I get a sharp pain sort of at the front downstairs - it feels like the front (where my pee comes out) is being torn or something?? It gets crazy intense and then just disappears.

Should I be concerned? I thought maybe it is just my cervix stretching with the BH but I just wanted to get some more opinions.

They aren't regular at all - It seems to be when I'm standing mostly too. I have no pain when I pee either.

    What do you guys think?

Could be. could also be where your little one is sitting and their head is just putting pressure on a bad spot for you.
(sorry on phone so cant see how many weeks etc you are)

Thanks! I am 36+1 at the moment. So it's just something to wait out and hope she moves at some point? I just was hoping they aren't the start of contractions instead of BH because I thought that's when the pain changed.

I'm not sure what my little man is doing but i often get severe pain in my cervix. Haven't noticed if its after a BH or not though..

I agree with Teirae, maybe bub's position putting pressure on cervix when you have a BH. I had similar pains, they're really uncomfortable! *hug*

Glad to hear they are relatively common - I'll put up with them and see how I go. Haven't had anymore so that's a good thing!!

    Thanks for the replies!!
