Okay, I have to know. Is it just me? Or is everyone else having strange, strange dreams?
Thus far, I have dreamed:
That I was going to have to give birth in a giant floating tin of milo.
That I gave birth after being induced, but didn't notice the baby had arrived until the cat attacked her.
That somebody entered my room at the hospital and snatched the baby and ran away, and I couldn't follow, and nobody would believe me. This one had me waking in a sweat.
That the baby wasn't in fact DH's but I was trying to convince him to stay and be the father "because you'd be so much better at it than that dingbat I had sex with."
That I gave birth to our 4 year old cat. He was not impressed. Neither was I.
That I am not in fact pregnant and have to get up so I can compete in a fun run.
Hi Kristen..when i was pregnant i did read in my pregnancy book that some women while pregnant have dreams like u have said! so i dont think u are alone!
ok....listen to this one...i dreamt that my dp used to be with a man before me and that his ex boyfriend worked at the checkout at our local supermarket and that we went there and went through the checkout and his ex's pants were really low and i could see his penis and i was staring at his penis and imagining dp having sex with it!!!
how absolutely insane is that?? fyi dp has never ever been with a man...
I never had any dreams like that with DD. Only one i had with her was: i had a named picked out for her and my mum hated it so as soon as she was born mum took off with her to the local shopping centre and wouldnt give her back til i changed her name.
But every dream i had from then on her name was always Chelsea Rose... and of course.. how her name became that IRL!
Not had any dreams yet with this one! But ur dreams are great....very bizzare.. and i agree with Blanche, i read the same thing!
I had 2 crazy dreams the other night, but the one I had one last night is the one thats stuck in my head.
I was waiting at the train station in the middle of nowhere in outback Queensland, waiting on the platform with the current Doctor Who. He was waiting for the train to drop off some kid that had been naughty. While he was busy tending to him I felt the babys leg thru my skin, so I grabbed it. I said to my friend that I was holding its leg and i lifted up my shirt to show her and there was the baby... Not inside me, outside me, cord still attached. I turned to my friend and she was gone. So I waited an hour and Doctor Who came back over to talk to me, to which he said oh youve had the baby. He looked at it coz it wasn't breathing well, then told me it was a girl. Next thing, we were at a party with all my mums family and they kept taking her off of me and not giving her back...
She was so beautiful, I couldn't believe was mine. Hope thats the way it is and not some ugly thing.
I'll keep you posted with any others i might have!
Golly.
I'm glad to hear that it isn't just me, and that it's a fairly well documented phenomenon!Gracie, your dream made me gasp and then laugh quite loudly. It's really odd when you wake up and think "Wha...?"
I like the dreams of a beautiful baby- I can never see my baby clearly, when he or she appears in my dreams.
