    Vomitting at 30 weeks

Hoping for a little help ladies

I woke up feeling fine, ate breakfast as normal, stopped to get a coffee on the way to work. Took a sip... and that was the end of it.

I had to pull my car over to vomit... yuck.

I've vomitted again since I got to work and am now feeling weak and light-headed.

I drink plenty of water (2L a day at least) and have kept the fluid intake way up over the past few days as the heat rolled into Brisbane.

Could it be heat related? Or is my stomach just being squashed and there's no room left for food?

    TIA x

Could definitely be heat related, I would often feel very yuck when I got too hot. Take it easy, lots of rest. Icey-poles are a good way to get fluids and a bit of sugar in. HTH.

I've come home from work and am sitting under the air con.

Feeling better, have eaten some toast and not thrown it up! I don't think the heartburn is helping either.

Thanks girls... Am chilling on the couch this afternoon so hopefully it'll pass soon x

Oh no, car vom! Sorry Nic, not nice.

So glad you're feeling better hon. Hopefully it was a one-off, as you say, maybe heat-related or tummy starting to get squished?

    Take care of yourself x

    Thanks girls.

From the amount this kid is now moving, bub appreciates the rest and spag bol DH cooked for me.

The news report said it was Brisbane's hottest day in 4 years, something like 7 above average... Thankfully it will be cooling down over the next few days.

When I was pregnant with DS1, I had arvo sickness (3o'clock chuck as I would call it). It disappeared around 30 weeks, but then reappeared around 34weeks - to which my OB said was quite common for the last few weeks with hormones and everything moving around. I also had the bad heartburn from the 30 weeks (yeah, got rid of the arvo sickness only to be hit with heartburn, then had both from 34weeks til DS1's birth at 37w1d - thank goodness he decided to come early...lol!)

Hopefully it was just heat related so you can enjoy the next 10 weeks of your pregnancy

    All the best,

    Thanks girls!!!

    Am feeling much better today!!

I rested all afternoon and evening and slept like a log (in the air con) so I would say it's definitely the heat.

Bec, I've had heartburn on and off for about 10 weeks now. That's what I thought it was, just a little burp after breakfast... but no. Luckily there was no one driving behind me when I had to pull over and erm... fertalise... someone's front garden

    Thanks for checking on me
