Two nights ago i went to the toilet and i sat back down on the couch and when i did i felt a small gush i jumped up thinking i peed myself but it had no smell..
I didn't sleep that night was feeling weird, couldn't get comfortable all night.. i woke up at 8 had a shower and i started to have contractions, they were painful and quite regular.
We already had an appt at the birth suite so the whole way there i was having them, some had me lose my breath.
We got there i could barely walk i was in so much pain and i was asked to pee in the cup as usual but as soon i started it felt weird down there so i wiped before i peed and i lost quite a bit of mucous and it kept coming so i told the midwife and told her everything id been feeling so she called the doctor..
They were all convinced that i was infact in labour but after an examination and ultrasound it was just a false alarm..
But now we play the waiting game as they dont think it will be much longer..
Again i got hardly any sleep last night and have been having contractions most the morning... but no more show..
Meanwhile I have a bump that seems to have settled in for the duration, and my parents are telling me to hold off until the school holidays or my father's birthday - both of them are in JULY.
No spectacular cramps, no shows, no waters ... actually after a patch of feeling fuzzy a few weeks back I feel fine, barring this bump that gets in the way all the time.
*sits back and twiddles thumbs*
I'm not sure what is worse, a panicking false alarm like you got or just waiting without any signs ...
