Weird!!

Last night I was having a dream that the baby had just been born and was having it's first breastfeed.

Then, I woke up to go to the toilet (of course) and found that one of my boobs was leaking a bit. This hasn't happened before and it was the one the baby was feeding off in the dream. Weird!!!!!!! Do you think it was a coincidence or that my mind made it happen like my body thought the dream was real?

Haha - I've had that happen before: dream about breastfeeding and wake up to leaking. Mind you, I tend to leak at least a little almost every night (but not during the day if I'm wearing a bra - weird?).

I don't know, but I'd think it wasn't a coincidence - just like a lot of pg ladies leak when they hear babies cry, etc.

I would think it was because of the dream.

Everytime i hear a newborn cry at the shops i get the let down feeling(tingling) and at times leak a bit, now thats weird!

When you imagine, remember or dream something, the same parts of the brain are triggered as would be if you were actually doing that action. Of course, if you're dreaming, you're paralysed so that you don't go wandering around the house picking up imaginary babies (!) but of course your boobs aren't paralysed and so they're acting on those messages from the brain. Call me a geek, but I think that's amazing and pretty awesome too. We are such fascinating creatures!

Yeah, I think it's pretty amazing too. Like I haven't even had a baby yet and my bbs subconciously know what to do, rofl.
