Question What do you think? Should i call my obs?

I just wanted to know what you guys think of this
Last night - i thought i had gone into labour. At least, now i think i know what having contractions feels like.
Went to bed about 10.30ish, feeling very cramping in my upper thighs (my Y bit ) And just couldnt get comfy. Was really hungry, but, felt like throwing at the same time. I woke up about 12.45ish, needing to go toilet, #2 and to throw up. Went back to bed, and still very crampy, as i lay there, started to get back pain, and the cramps would start in my Y bit, and then work into my lower tummy, and then, go away. And that happened about 4 times about 4 - 5 min apart. Looking back, it doesnt seem like much, but, at the time of laying there, it felt very much happening. I didnt know what to do
I didnt know if i should get up, wake up DH, call the hospital or anything. The last one happened about 1.40, and wasnt as bad, and no more after that.
So, i can only assume that it was some sort of false labour, or serious burst of BH. Obs did an internal yesterday, so, not to sure if that brought it on.

Should i call my obs and mention it to him? Also, have been feeling really nauseas, not physically being sick, but, just that constant sick feeling in my tum. Like m/s all over again.

Id call them. I learnt the hard way last time what happens when u hesitate to call them (go into labour and by the time u get to hospital your contractions are 1 min apart lasting about 1 min was not fun). Im not saying u are in labour or anything cos Im not an expert at all but the day before I went into labour (which im guessing I was actually in labour but just ignoring it) I was feeling really off with all sorts of weird and wonderful pains but I didnt even mention to my husband cos I thought I was just going to be a pain and didnt want to alarm anyone especially if it was false labour. I figure the people at your hospital and definitely your OB are paid enough so lets make them work for our money hehehehehe.

    Good luck.

    Hi Mum2be
It sounds like you had what is commonly called false labour.
Feeling sick is common at this time in pregnancy.
If you are comfortable there is no need to call your obs

Apparently in about 7 months I will be a qualified midwife - yikes!

Mum2bee - this is basically how I was yesterday and last night as well, although today there is no sign of the nausea or the irritated bowels.

If things have settled, I am with Alan, just take it easy. First time bubs can have quite a few stops and starts, now is the time to conserve your energy and make the most of the 2 of you! lol
