    Question What is this pain?

Early yesterday morning, maybe 2-3am i woke up with these pains. They came in waves every 5-10 mins. No matter the position i was in they kept coming. Then all day yesterday i had them, they varied in length. Sometimes the peak of the pain was really bad. My belly would only tighten with some of them.

I put it down to gastro at first but have only thrown up once in the last 24 hours and everything is normal the other end...

I've woken up today with the same pains, but it seems to be just there rather than in waves..

The pain is higher in my belly, so the top of my uterus but it does go down low and into my back at times.

    Is it just weird BH?

I'd say it's just pregnancy pains.
Try not to move too fast, as that might make them worse. You could try some panadol?
    When is your next appt?

My next appt is on the 28th. Its apparently with a doctor too so i can hold off for that long.

I've got some panadiene that ive been taking which seems to take the edge off.

That was supposed to say "So i can TRY to hold off for that long" haha

I might call up if they dont ease up. I might find my heat pack and sit on the lounge with it.

I just feel like such a newbie because this pregnancy has been completely the opposite to DDs. By 33 weeks i was having consistant BH all day everyday...

That sounds exactly like what i experienced the other night Summer (i'm 31 weeks) - i ended up with really bad gastro, when the gastro stopped so did the pains, it really freaked me out though, I was terrified i was going into early labour.

it's probably just gastro or ligaments stretching, but with any sort of pain like this and especially at your gestation it's best to check with a midwife. If you phone the birth suite and talk them through how you are feeling they will be able to help you decide if you need to be checked out sooner than your appointment. Hope all is well xx

Thats what i thought as well. But its been 2 days now and i threw up only once which i think was more because i had severe heartburn and needed to relieve it. The pain is still persistant, if its still there by monday i might see my GP.
