Skye- I would suss it out at your appointment on Thursday! I have Pelvic Instability which is apparently pretty much the same as SPD, and it sounds like it could be that! It could also just be normal pregnancy pain/ligament pain as bubs sitting on a nerve or something. Bubs should weigh about 2kilos now so understandable to experience some pain. They say pelvic instability/SPD only gets worse, but mine and another girl I know have found the opposite, it's gotten better towards the end, fingers crossed! Ket us know how you get on xxx

Aww honey It sure does sound a lot like SPD to me, but don't be surprised if your OB knows stuff all about it, I've found most OB's and even midwives are a bit clueless about the condition - either a physio or a chiro will be your best friend at this point. Mine is just starting to kick in now, I found in most of my pregnancies that to roll over in bed I have to be supporting both sides of my hips and I kinda flip myself over - like a whale would I imagine!! I've also been known to wake DH up and ask him to roll me over so I can support my pelvis while doing so. Definitely no standing on one leg, keep your knees together as much as you can and support your pelvis with a belt of some type. And ice it of a night time

    Welcome fellow SPD sufferer!

Mine started 3rd tri last time but 2nd tri this time. Feel like a shuffling old lady.

The good news is that it goes away pretty much as soon as you give birth.
