I left as soon as my waters broke.......BIG MISTAKE!!
It was the opposite for me. With DD, I should have left the moment my waters broke but I waited thinking it would be a while. It was a very quick birth (just over two hours from waters breaking to DD arriving) and we only just made it to the hospital in time. I think I might have started pushing in the car but I was in denial at the time.

With DS though, I went when I couldn't handle the pain anymore. If I had known more about the breathing technique, I could of stayed home for a lot longer. I was glad to be at the hospital though. Their shower was awesome.
