Where's my pregnancy glow and nesting bug already? :)

Cmon! ...

I've been jipped this pregnancy. No so called glow, no radiance about my hair, just same old lol just normal Lys. Lol

And when's this nesting thing supposed to come into effect, huh? Again, I think I'm getting jipped. I mean I've got more energy but I need more to clean this house of mine lol



When did it kick in for you?

glow I get when I have morning sickness for some random sick reason! Other than that I look more tired than ever, and drained of energy

And nesting well with both the girls it never started until the last month or so, and it hasnt kicked in yet either!

This one so far, nothing. No nesting (didn't expect it yet tbh) and definitely no glow!!

If there is a glow I've been jipped to. Haha my nesting kicked in with DS about 2 hours before I went into labour and with the pg'cy it's still a no show and I'm 35 weeks haha I hope you get at least one or the other if not both

Ive had a little bit of energy today and done some cleaning but haven't been like omg this HAS to be done... NOW lol.

DH has been joking and saying I've got it already. I don't think I have. I'm just cleaning what needs to be done, provided I have the energy.

I don't have either either Lys nesting? Pah! I'd be surprised if I even get it. I'm NOT a cleaning person. Even DH gets fed up before me!

With DD I missed out on the glow - had no energy whatsoever all the way through. I think my version of nesting was the 4 hours of cooking for the freezer I did the day before she was born.

This time I was told I was glowing (though now I get told I look tired) but I never felt it. I think nesting is starting to kick in this week. I hope so because there is A LOT to be done to get this house into shape.

I think my pregnancy glow is hiding out with Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Never to be seen. I didn't get any nesting desires with DD1 and only did with DD2 when I was in labour waiting for my folks to arrive at my house to look after DD1 so I could go to the hospital.

I don't get the 'glow' either. My hair is in great condition at the moment but that's the awesome products I'm using

Nesting kicks in a lot later for me. I'm in full swing now (34 weeks) and was about the same with DD. I get the itch around 32 weeks.

I've actually just finished cleaning out and completely resorting my pantry. I did the exact same when PG with DD. Yesterday both cars and car seats were thoroughly vacuumed and all the baby clothes and linen were washed and folded last week. We've just moved into a new house so most things are in order any way but I have been buying baskets and sorting medicines, random pantry goods, etc too I'm also sorting photos into albums again - yes, I went nuts on photos and albums last pregnancy too.

I'm a bit of an organise freak at the best of times but I do go into overdrive in the third tri - like I'll never have a spare moment to do anything again!

I have the glow! All my pimples are gone and my akin looks all even...

Don't know about a 'glow' but I am pimple free and have been since about 12 weeks woo hoo!

Nesting comes and goes, around 16 weeks a had one day of mad cleaning, but now Im back to avoiding any unnecessary cleaning like the plague lol. Im thinking I might get the urge in the new year, bit hard to do too much before christmas with people coming to stay, I cant pack up the spare room and turn it into a nursery and then expect them to sleep on the floor or in the cot

me too! although not as many pimples etc this time just general oiliness and blotchy skin... ick. And it's too darn hot to clean haha

DH is still waiting for the nesting to hit. And dd is nearly 2!!!!!!!!!!

don't think i ever had a glow with DS - unless you count getting all red in the face?! and i never nested....i baked but that was it! and it didn't even stretch to making meals for when i got home from hospital, it was solely baking. i'm hoping something kicks in this time!!
