When you and your partner are lying in bed watching tv - and your partner suddenly makes a vocal noise that sounds like water splashing. You ask what on earth is he doing, and he looks at you and says "did your water just break?"...."lets try and break it"!!!!
Or he rings you every day to ask if anything has happened!!
Poor DF - He thinks just cos my twin sister went 7 weeks early that i was going to go early also! But nope - little man is still in there which i am more than happy about.
When people start ringing you up asking if anything has happened yet and you haven't even reached your official due date yet...and you have to grit your teeth not to say something rude! (Mum, I'm looking at you....)
And people start treating you like you're a timebomb!
And random strangers on the street check out your baby bump, with a look that clearly says that they have assessed that you are ready to drop at any given moment and they seem to think that you are taking a risk being out of the house.
And you are in a really really foul mood because of all these things...
Curly - I know what you mean! Lol. Was in coles the other day, and I swear people were looking at me like I had 2 heads! Must have looked pretty funny with a huge belly pushing a full trolley around!
Plus my MIL rings me everyday asking how I'm going, have I had anymore pains etc....I just feel like screaming to leave me alone, when it happens we'll let you know! Lol. But I can't be so rude she just cares alot. Lol.
Then there's DH who jumps every time I do - which is sweet too, he desperate for bubs to come out too. Keeps talking to him and telling him he has to come outta there. Lmao.
lol know what you mean about the looks from strangers! Was in Big W today and this guy and his wife were trying to get their toddler to sit down in the trolley and he said 'I think you should be sitting down' to her and then looked directly at me, pointed (wtf?!) and said 'Ditto for you'... I have no idea who the f he is - never seen him before in my life!
And what about when people tell you you shouldn't be hanging out washing or doing the vacuuming etc like a friend of mine did when I said that's why I didn't hear the phone... who the hell else is going to do it for me? And with a toddler insisting on wearing undies but not wanting to use the loo, it's not like the washing can wait!
I feel like screaming at people 'I'm just very pregnant, I'm not an invalid or sick or dying!!!!'
