I would imagine it would be very easy for any student to get out of the school grounds. The gates aren't locked and every child cannot be supervised at all times. I think the schools rely on self regulation and the good old dobbing system.

At my DD's school there four teachers on yard duty at break time and four "peace makers" who are grade six students.
